How to Measure

Step 1

Draw a line for each wall  

Step 2

Record the total length of all walls from corner to corner and ceiling height 

Step 3

Add window and door locations to your sketch  

• Start at the corner of any wall that contains a window or door and measure to  the outside edge of the trim on the window or door and record the measurement  

• Measure the width of the window or door with trim and record the measurement  

• Repeat this process with each window or door on each wall  

Step 4

Place appliances in your sketch  

• Notate the width and location of your appliances including the sink and placement  distance on the wall
